Patrece is a licensed mental health counselor specializing in grief and bereavement, self esteem and body image, cultural sensitivity, diversity and inclusion, wellness coaching and social group counseling. She is the founder of Indigo Transitions PLLC and the social advocacy program, Coffee with a Counselor. Associates of Integrative Medicine has partnered with Indigo Transitions and is excited to bring Patrece's unique approach to our patients.

While she will also have an onsite day at AIM P.C., Patrece commits to meeting our patients wherever they are on their healing journey, emotionally and physically. This may be at home, in the hospital or in their community. Her therapeutic approach is to help you to explore how your core beliefs, feelings, and thoughts shape your emotions and behavior patterns.

Prior to going into private practice and starting her social advocacy program, Patrece had a 16 year career at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan where in addition to her regular duties in Information Technology, she became an employee resource and advocate and most recently, a diversity and inclusion facilitator who helped the organization foster positive behavioral changes for all company employees.

Building on that foundation, Patrece founded Coffee with a Counselor, which provides free workshops, lectures, brief counseling, and coffee/cocoa circles anywhere groups
gather. Patrece wants to raise the health of our communities and strives in both her private practice, and Coffee With A Counselor, to make mental health and conversations about mental health as common as buying a cup of coffee/tea.
